Easy hike of 2 km on a dirt road from the chapel of Ermita de la Pietat to the Bassa de la Ermita pond. Through uninhabited fallow land and well-tended olive groves. This varied landscape is home to many birds. You can hear many birds, such as Žluva hajní, zvonohlík zahradní, slavík obecný , pěnice černohlavá, zvonek zelený, kos černý and hrdlička zahradní, and observing birds like vrabec domácí, jiřička obecná, vlaštovka obecná and dudek chocholatý. Depending on the water level in the pond, which is fed by rain, water birds such as lyska černá , kachna divoká and volavka popelavá can be spotted.

Access
The Ermita de la Pietat is located north of the village of Ulldecona. There is a large parking lot next to the hermitage. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The parking is the starting point for the hike (2 km one way, 4 km there and back).
