North of the town of El Cotillo you find a barren coastal area. At the end of the track the lighthouse Faro El Toston is located.

Description

The walk along the beach North of El Cotillo is varying between rocky lava fields and small bays with white sand. Here volavka stříbřitá and jespák písečný can be seen, but also kamenáček pestrý and kulík mořský.

A bit further in inland (see map) is breeding ground for Dytík úhorní, along the road and path you can see hýl pouštní, pěnice brýlatá, linduška kanárská and skřivánek menší. In the area also sup mrchožravý and sokol stěhovavý can be seen.

According to ebird Buřňák šedý (ssp. diomedea) / buřňák šedý and faeton červenozobý has been seen.
