The forest in Costa Calma is attractive to migrants and wintering birds. Among them are also rarities. During migration numerous passerines can hide in the forest, although they can be a bit more difficult to find as they can disperse over more trees than at other sites on Fuerteventura. However, the forest is a good place to spend the hot time of the day.
