Description

The origin of the wetland of Charca de Valdemudo is mainly the infiltration of waters from the Castilla channel. Virtually its entire surface is covered by marsh vegetation, so most of the species that live in it are associated with this environment, such as strnad rákosní or rákosník obecný. The bank closest to the canal has dense bush cover, as well as trees (mainly poplars and willows). In this area we find birds typical of the forests and riparian groves, such as žluna zelená, Žluva hajní or slavík obecný. The environment of the lagoon is made up of farmland.
