Herons such as: volavka popelavá, volavka bílá, volavka stříbřitá and bukáček malý. Waterfowl like: kachna divoká, lyska černá, Slípka zelenonohá, potápka roháč and potápka malá. It can be reached directly from Salamanca or from the town of Villamayor. The route can be done both on foot and by bicycle.
