Typical Extremadura meadow landscape with open areas, groves of poplars and old orchards. Very abundant in passerines and forest raptors.
Camino de Los Molinos is a typical Extremadura meadow, in which open areas, groves of poplars and old orchards are interspersed. It is a very good place to see strakapoud malý. Very abundant also in passerines and forest raptors. The path runs near a stream, where there are several old mills. It ends in a large area of Mediterranean forest and pasture. Among the birds you can see besides strakapoud malý, are krahujec obecný, orlík krátkoprstý, sup hnědý, strnad cvrčivý, luňák červený, kalous ušatý, mlynařík dlouhoocasý, straka iberská and pěnice mistrovská. But many more, see the extended birdlist below.

You can make a circular route of 9 km. Park the car at the entrance of the road and do it on foot to the Ermita de los Remedios. From there you can return along a road (it is usually little traveled) surrounded by spectacular holm oak pastures. You can also do the tour by bicycle or car.

Desde allí se puede regresar por una carretera(suele estar poco transitada) rodeada de dehesas de encinas espectaculares. También se puede hacer el recorrido en bicicleta o coche.
