Description

Barranco de Artuñio is a valley between limestone rock walls. Among the vegetation, the following stand out: century-old walnut trees that give rise to a pasture landscape. This landscape is habitat for a great diversity of birds. Among the birds you can observe are sup bělohlavý, sokol stěhovavý, orlík krátkoprstý, Žluva hajní, sedmihlásek švitořivý, králíček ohnivý, sýkora uhelníček, pěnice mistrovská, kos horský and drozd cvrčala.

Espagnol: Profundo valle entre paredes de roca caliza. Entre la vegetación destacar: nogales centenarios que dan lugar a un paisaje de dehesa, arces, encinas y serbales. Este paisaje es hábitat para gran diversidad de aves: buitre leonado, halcón peregrino, culebrera europea, oropéndola europea, zarcero políglota, reyezuelo listado, carbonero garrapinos, curruca mirlona, mirlo capiblanco, zorzal alirrojo, etc.

Barranco de Artuñio is near the town of Pedro Andrés, in Albacete (Castilla-La Mancha). Click on the P in the map for directions. From the main road you walk up the unpaved road and path along Barranco de Artuñio for 4 kilometers. There and back is 8 kilometers.
