Description
Lake Bruje, or Erdevik's Lake, is an artificial lake on the southwestern slopes of Fruška Gora mountain. It is surrounded by dense deciduous forests, mostly oak, beech, and linden. There is an asphalt road around the lake and to the old Roman army bath north of the lake. Also worth visiting is the forest meadow Kosača to the northwest. West of the lake is a large hunting ground Vorovo with European Bison, but it is not open to the public.
Birds on the lake include labuť velká (breeding on the lake), potápka roháč, and ducks, mostly kachna divoká. On the hilly slopes around the lake are Žluva hajní, hrdlička divoká, drozd zpěvný, and many other common species.
