Due to the presence of shallow pools, the Vadu area is popular with waders such as jespáček ploskozobý, pisila čáponohá, jespák šedý, jespák malý, kulík mořský and lyskonoh úzkozobý. In spring and autumn it is a good place for migratory birds. But also in summer many marsh birds such as volavka červená, ibis hnědý, rybák bahenní, kvakoš noční, moták pochop, chřástal malý and rákosník plavý are breeding in this area.
