Description
Iernut - Cipău is a system of two fishponds that is situated in Mureș county. It is easy to access them. They have a large bird diversity and almost always several rare or scarce species in every periode of the year. Birds you can see here are: berneška rudokrká, orel křiklavý, rákosník zpěvný, pisila čáponohá, polák malý and kvakoš noční.

The pond area is easy to access on main road from Cluj Napoca, Târgu Mureș and also Mediaș. The lakes near Iernut have free access on the paved road to the direction of power plant (Termocentrala), that near Cipău is easy to check via telescope from the lakes' embankment, near the main road.
