Tarnowa Łąka - Dolina Rowu Polskiego is an area of open meadows surrounded by forest both from the south and from the north. It is a place of breeding, resting and feeding for many interesting bird species such as jeřáb popelavý, moták pilich, moták lužní, poštolka obecná and of passerines like bramborníček černohlavý and bramborníček hnědý. In spring, especially when the area is flooded, you can see many species of ducks, as well as labuť velká, labuť zpěvná and labuť malá. A permanent resident is ťuhýk šedý. In 2016, the presence of a subspecies of the ťuhýk šedý - Lanius exubitor homeyeri, was recorded. In spring you can hear the chřástal polní.
