Easily accessible resting place for big groups of husa velká. Well-kept reeds (pruned in spring) with reed birds like cvrčilka slavíková and slavík modráček.
Struga Średzka is a gathering place for over a thousand husa velká. Lots of reed birds. slavík modráček can be observed on a regular basis. Some moták pochop. Also many jespák bojovný, some vodouš rudonohý, many čejka chocholatá, volavka bílá and various ducks (ostralka štíhlá, čírka modrá, čírka obecná). The place is not visited by many people and very quiet. Great place to enjoy bird watching. Also dudek chocholatý can be spotted.
The easiest way is to reach the village of Kromolice by car. Park your car at the end of the village at the bend. From there, walk along the path between the field and the reeds. Turn right and follow the path for approximately 2 km. Return the same road or through the meadows to the Szczodrzykowo Reservoir. (Note: ditches cross meadows and fields).
By train from Poznań, you will get to Pierzchno station (marked with a star on the map). From there, about 2 km on foot (to the right after leaving the station, turn left and left again - the village of Kromolice).
In the village of Kromolice, it is worth to walk to the playground and to pass to its end. There are ponds formed in the meadows in spring that are interesting for birding.
