Buda Stalowska Fishponds is a vast area of mid-forest ponds, wetlands and wet meadows cut by many ditches and canals, draining excess water to the Dąbrówka River. The complex of fish ponds has become a protected area by the European Union. Particularly noteworthy is the relatively large number of species of breeding birds (139 species).
