A characteristic feature of the Park Krajobrazowy Stawki is the presence of numerous streams, ponds and marshes. In these conditions, alder forests, low hornbeam forests and riparian forests developed. The most valuable forest areas are under protection as the ''Wielki Las nature reserve''. In addition to forests, peat bogs and mid-forest also meadows have developed in the park. Among the birds you can see are 6 species of woodpecker (strakapoud velký, strakapoud malý, strakapoud jižní, strakapoud prostřední, žluna zelená and datel černý) and also birds like Žluva hajní, linduška lesní, sýkora uhelníček, sýkora parukářka, sýkora babka, sýkora lužní and dlask tlustozobý.
