Description
Łazienki Park is spacious and full of life. Best to visit in the morning when people are not there yet. Note that it's open from 6 am. Two pairs of puštík obecný can be heard at night. If you ask a local birder they will be happy to show you where they spend their day. kachnička mandarinská, morčák velký and kachna divoká nest in the park. A pair of krkavec velký breed here every year as well.
The park is known for the many woodpecker species that can be seen here. It's difficult not to see žluna zelená, strakapoud velký and strakapoud prostřední on your visit. If you have a bit more luck you might see strakapoud malý, datel černý or a strakapoud jižní. Various songbirds breed here, brhlík lesní is very common. In May and June you might spot a lejsek černohlavý or lejsek šedý in the part of the park where horses used to be held.

Access
Easy accessible from Warsaw. Free access. Difficult to find a parking spot sometimes. The best spot is probably near Belvedere restaurant. Park is open from 6am to 10pm. Best to explore the park on foot and take your time. The walking route shown on the map is about 4 km.
