Description

The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of husa velká), lyska černá and various species of ducks (including turpan černý and turpan hnědý), as well as potáplice malá and potáplice severní, potápka roháč, potápka černokrká, potápka žlutorohá and morčák malý winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see orel mořský, sometimes sokol stěhovavý.

Access

Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
