Bugaj Reservoir is a great place during spring and summer time. There is a breeding colony of rybák obecný, rybák černý and racek chechtavý. Two or three pairs of moták pochop also breed there. It is also a breeding place for labuť velká, potápka malá, bukač velký, sýkořice vousatá, Slípka zelenonohá and potápka roháč.
