The Vondelpark is an oasis with many birds in the middle of the city. You can see common birds like volavka popelavá, kachna divoká, lyska černá, labuť velká and sýkora koňadra. But there are also more surprising species such as krahujec obecný, čáp bílý, strakapoud velký and rákosník obecný. The alexandr malý can also often be seen in the park.

The park is located in the middle of the city of Amsterdam and is easily accessible on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. From Amsterdam Central Station, tram line 2 runs along the Vondelpark.
