The outlet at Katwijk is a popular spot for birdwatchers, especially during the bird migration. You have a good chance of seeing rare birds. Op de ''Puinhoop'', het hoogste duin, kan je mooi uitkijken over zee. Op het strand zijn er onder andere jespák písečný, kulík písečný, racek stříbřitý en andere meeuwen te vinden. De vogeltrektelpost die zich in de buurt bevindt is daarom ook zo populair onder vogelspotters, wanneer duizenden vogels voorbijtrekken.

Uitwatering Katwijk is located near the sea in the town of Katwijk aan Zee. There is a large (paid) parking lot near the outlet. Press the P on the map for directions to the parking lot.
