This part of the Pannerdens canal is nice for a birdwatching walk. It is quiet and wonderfully beautiful (especially in spring). Birds that you can encounter in the area include pisík obecný, morčák velký, sokol stěhovavý, kulík říční, rybák černý, rybák obecný, potápka malá and ledňáček říční.

Access
The Pannerdens Kanaal is located near the city of Zevenaar, directly north of the village of Pannerden. You can reach it from the south by ferry or from the north by road. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 8 km.
