In spring, especially the path between the parking and the lakes is very good for songbirds like budníček větší , konopka obecná , pěnice černohlavá , pěnice pokřovní and zvonek zelený, but also sedmihlásek hajní, slavík obecný and pěnice slavíková. The path between the lakes is good for slavík modráček. From the far viewpoint you have good views over both lakes.

De plassen wemelen vaak van eenden en futen, soms ganzen, terwijl aan de zijkanten volavka popelavá of zelfs volavka bílá te vinden is. moták pochop kun je vanaf de uitkijkpunten zien jagen. You can park at the Mokbaai and walk from there. The first 600 meters are accessible by wheelchair or by bike, but be warned: you'll miss a lot of birds, like králíček obecný, while cycling!

The polder behind the lakes is called Kreeftepolder and is especially good for slavík modráček, but also bramborníček černohlavý, strnad rákosní and moták pochop are easy targets there.
