The Buytenpark Zoetermeer is beautiful area that you can easily combine with the adjacent Nieuwe Driemanspolder (also described on Birdingplaces). Nederlands: Het Buytenpark Zoetermeer is een natuurgebied van ruim 100 hectare groot aan de noordwestelijke kant van Zoetermeer. Je vindt er een duidelijk verschil tussen het woeste westelijke deel en het parkachtige oostelijke deel. Een mooi gebied dat je gemakkelijk kunt combineren met de Nieuwe Driemanspolder (ook beschreven op Birdingplaces). In het voorjaar is het hier leuk vogels kijken met volop vogelzang van soorten als rákosník proužkovaný, slavík modráček, cetie jižní, bramborníček černohlavý, cvrčilka zelená en budníček větší. Daarnaast broeden er verschillende soorten steltlopers in het gebied zoals kulík říční, břehouš černoocasý, tenkozobec opačný en vodouš rudonohý en is er een wand gemaakt waar de břehule říční mooi te zien is. Ook de pisila čáponohá is hier soms te zien. In de trektijd duiken hier ook regelmatig vogels op doortrek op. Zo is het een goede plek om de kos horský te zien, foerageert er wel eens een kolpík bílý in het gebied en maak je ook kans op één van de mooiste eendensoorten van Nederland: de zrzohlávka rudozobá. Meer op de hogere gedeeltes zie je linduška luční, bramborníček černohlavý, konopka obecná, pěvuška modrá en pěnice černohlavá.
