Description

The breeding colonies of the ibis skalní on the cliffs are well protected, not accessible and it is forbidden to enter them. A very good thing as this has greatly contributed to the breeding colonies expanding and the population of ibis skalní increasing again. Great news for a bird that was in danger of extinction not so long ago. This is the area where you have a very good chance to see them. Often flying past but also foraging in the sandy areas and dunes bordering the coast. Sometimes the ibis skalní can sit surprisingly close to the road and are not shy. Other birds you may encounter in the area are racek Audouinův, ťuhýk šedý, chocholouš vavřínový, Chocholouš obecný, bělořit okrový, rehek severoafrický, pěnice bělohrdlá, pěnice vousatá and pěnice brýlatá.
