Description
Shahroud Waterfall Park is the largest green space in the city of Shahroud. It features an artificial waterfall, three fish ponds, and various green spaces, including extensive pine groves. The complex sits adjacent to the mountains, making it easy to spot birds in different habitats within just a few hundred meters. Golden Eagle and Chukar are year-round residents of the area, alongside both Eastern Rock Nuthatch and Western Rock Nuthatch. During migration, species such as the Spotted Flycatcher, Black Redstart, and Greater Whitethroat are common sights. In winter, many finches and thrushes frequent the area.

Access
Shahroud Waterfall Park is located in the northwestern part of Shahroud. The park is easily accessible by private car or taxi. It is also possible to get there by bike or even on foot. There are plenty of parking spots available at all times. Press P on the map for directions. It is best to allow one to two hours to explore the area.
