Description

Manjeera Wildlife Sanctuary has wetlands, scrub, and grasslands around a large reservoir. In winter, you can spot Bar-headed Goose, Watercock, Painted Stork, and more. Mottled Wood-Owl and Indian Spotted Eagle are local highlights. The mix of habitats makes it a great year-round birding site.

Access

Manjeera Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Sangareddy district, Telangana. About 50 km from Hyderabad. Best reached by car; limited public transport. Park near the reservoir and explore on foot. Allow at least half a few hours for birdwatching. Early mornings are best.
