Description
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are potáplice malá, potápka žlutorohá, kajka mořská, lyskonoh úzkozobý, morčák prostřední, berneška tmavá, labuť zpěvná, rybák dlouhoocasý, kulík písečný, břehouš černoocasý, vodouš rudonohý, chaluha příživná, racek polární and racek šedý.

Rif wetland is located at the end of the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. You can park at the bird hide. Click on the P in the map for directions.
