Description
The Molivos viewpoint is located on the hills just northeast of Molivos, and provides a perfect view for migrating birds in autumn. During this time of year, migrants, like raptors and storks, tend to travel from Turkey to Lesvos flying fairly low over the strait. Once they reached Lesvos, they tend to use the warmer air to gain height and cross the island. Common species that can be seen here are buzzards (Steppe Buzzard, káně bělochvostá), harriers (moták pochop, moták lužní and moták stepní), luňák hnědý, orlovec říční, krahujec obecný, jestřáb lesní, and storks (čáp černý, čáp bílý). Flocks of swallows, martins, vlha pestrá, and swifts can be seen here too.
Over the strait, large flocks of buřňák středomořský can be seen. Sometimes Buřňák šedý (ssp. diomedea) can be spotted within these flocks. Also keep an eye out for dolphins.
The surrounded hills are good for species like bělořit okrový and strnad černohlavý.

Access
The viewpoint itself is somewhat of a climb. There's not really a track going to the top, but you can reach it fairly easily from the northside of the hill. Still, if you're not in the mood/able to climb this part, there are multiple spots you can stand to observe the strait.
