Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and bělořit okrový. Birds of prey include poštolka obecná, poštolka jižní (especially at the acropolis), výreček malý and káně bělochvostá. Other birds you can encounter are volavka vlasatá, Dytík úhorní, ťuhýk rudohlavý, vlaštovka skalní and jespák malý.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
