Description
The landscape of Wildes Moor has extensive moor and grassland areas. In the course of the last 35 years, around 200 hectares of the original moorland have been renatured. From a viewing hill you have a wide view over the almost tree-free area. The wild moor is one of the raised bogs. Birds find a varied home in the Wildes Moor. Among the 54 breeding birds are numerous species typical of bog, such as husa velká, čírka obecná, jeřáb popelavý, Chřástal vodní, bekasina otavní, vodouš rudonohý, bramborníček hnědý, bramborníček černohlavý and slavík modráček. During migration labuť zpěvná, husa běločelá and berneška bělolící as well as jeřáb popelavý and numerous waders appear.
