With multiple lakes, vast reedlands and wet meadows with multiple lookout towers and one larger observation tower Strengsee/Rietzersee is a reliable site for various sorts of reed- and waterbirds such as ostralka štíhlá , lžičák pestrý , hvízdák eurasijský , kopřivka obecná . Access
The observation tower can best be reached via Netzen. Follow the signs "Beobachtungsturm" there is a parking area very close to the tower. From there walk to the tower which provides a nice view over the lake, and then follow the canal which goes to Rietzer See.
