Description

The lakes of Steiner Seen are open to the public. On the largest of the three lakes there is a small island where you can observe ducks such as kachna divoká and polák chocholačka. The area is partially surrounded by a small reed belt where songbirds such as rákosník proužkovaný can be observed.

ledňáček říční, morčák velký and Slípka zelenonohá can also be seen here regularly.

Access

The Steiner Seen are located directly southeast of Stein am Kocher. There is a parking lot in front of the ponds. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The lakes can then be walked around (about 1,2 km).
