Description
The Pätzer Plan is a large open space that is used for agriculture. The area is a mix of meadows and arable land. In the back there is also a small wetland. In winter, these areas are used as winter quarters for migratory birds such as jeřáb popelavý, husa velká and čejka chocholatá. In summer there is a good chance of seeing ťuhýk obecný, bekasina otavní or dudek chocholatý. Other birds you can encounter in the area are moták pochop, poštolka obecná, káně lesní, káně rousná, ťuhýk šedý and luňák červený.

Access
The place is easy to reach by car. Parking at the Haus des Waldes, click on the P in the map for directions. It is also possible to reach the area by bicycle (from the train station “Bestensee”) and there is also a bus that stops in front of the Pätzer Plan.
