Description
Boberger Niederung is a beautiful and varied nature reserve that is species-rich in flora and fauna. It has inland dunes (in the center of the nature reserve), the Achtermoor as a relic of the moor zone (in the west) and further south is a wetland (Billwerder). The marshes with their pastures are habitats for many birds. Birds you can encounter are strnad obecný, linduška lesní, skřivan polní, rehek zahradní, strakapoud velký, husice liščí and ťuhýk obecný.

Access
There are several parking areas. Click on a P in the map to get directions to the parking of your choice. At the Boberger Furt is a visitor center (see the map), where everything worth knowing about the protected area can be learned. From here you can explore the nature reserve in all its variations on several well-signposted paths. They are each marked with a symbol, between three and five kilometers long. The moor path (marked with a bird) runs around and through the Achtermoor. The dune path (marked by a butterfly) over the large main dune. A hare shows the meadow path through the marshland and finally a flower markes to the terrace path past orchid slopes, forests and dry grasslands. For the individual trails, there are hiking maps with descriptions of the respective flora and fauna in the visitor center. You can also follow the 9 km long circular route indicated on the map below.
