Nature reserve Letter Bruch is of great importance as a breeding and foraging habitat for many meadow birds. About 3-5 pairs of koliha velká breed here. Also a breeding ground for čejka chocholatá and bramborníček černohlavý. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are křepelka polní, koroptev polní, čáp bílý, moták pochop, sýček obecný, ťuhýk obecný, slavík obecný, bramborníček hnědý and konipas luční.
