Description
The Kemnader See is located on the southern outskirts of the city of Bochum and borders on Witten and Hattingen. The shore of the reservoir is developed with paved paths and a cycle path. The lake is traversed by the river Ruhr, in the estuary area of the river, gravel islands are formed, where mainly gulls (up to 6 species!) can be observed in winter.
