Description

The Bienertwehr is a small hydroelectric power station in Dresden. The area around the Bienertwehr is popular for hiking and offers scenic routes, including connections to nearby landmarks like the Felsenkeller and the Hoher Stein observation tower. Views of various habitats: rocks, flowing water and forest. Birds you can observe include volavka popelavá, ledňáček říční, skorec vodní, strakapoud velký, brhlík lesní and morčák velký.

The Bienertwehr is located on the southwestern outskirts of Dresden. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. Public transport: the Dresden-Plauen train station (1) is within walking distance. Access to the surrounding area is via a public walking and cycling path.
