Description

Amrumer Ode is an important resting place for waders and sea ducks such as turpan černý, ústřičník velký and kulík písečný. It is also a breeding ground for special species such as the rybák malý and various gull species. There is also a good chance of spotting color-ringed gulls and waders.

Access

The Amrumer Odde is located at the northern tip of Amrum, one of Germany’s North Frisian Islands in the North Sea. The access is at the beginning of the nature reserve and can be reached from Norddorf. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. The circular walking route shown on the map is about 5 km.
