Description
You will reach the monument on your drive from Tblisi to Kazbegi, a few kilometers before the Jvari pass. It is a tourist attraction with car park and people selling food and memorabilia. There is a large observation platform and a smaller one near the car park. Look up for migrating birds like včelojed lesní, krahujec krátkoprstý, luňák hnědý or local orel skalní, rorýs velký or krkavec velký. On the rocks below you can see species like kavče červenozobé, kavče žlutozobé, pěvuška podhorní, zedníček skalní and kos horský. Check the grassland for linduška horská and zvonohlík královský.
