Réserve des Barails is a cultivated landscape of wet meadows in the heart of Bordeaux. With nearly 160 hectares, the reserve represents the largest green space in the city of Bordeaux. Among the birds you can see are volavka rusohlavá, volavka stříbřitá, čáp bílý, ledňáček říční, luňák hnědý, kormorán velký and kachna divoká.

Public transport: Tram C or bus 25, 37 and 73, Parc des expositions - Stade Matmut stop. By bicycle: from Bordeaux, along the velodrome to the right and turn right before the football fields. The reserve has six kilometers of paths that crisscross the area.
