Pointe de Chassiron is located at the end of the island of Oléron, and probably the most interesting place for the observation of pelagic birds (= seawatch), like terej bílý, alkoun úzkozobý or even buřňák baleárský.
The best time to observe seabirds, like any bird for that matter, is from dawn until noon. The only really interesting period for the seawatch is fall.
