Along the river Ognon and the forest and lakes of Bonnal many bird species can be observed. Especially vlha pestrá, luňák červený, zvonohlík zahradní, luňák hnědý and ledňáček říční. In summer it is also possible to see big groups of čáp bílý en káně lesní. The best way to see birds at the river L'Ognon is by canoe, you can see many groups of vlha pestrá breeding. Other birds you can see in the area are strakapoud prostřední, žluna zelená and včelojed lesní.
