Description
The Corniche de Pail is a natural site that stretches along an 8 km long sandstone ridge that culminates in the landscape at 383 m. Located in the extension of the Mont des Avaloirs, it is an important migratory axe for birds. There are some nice open areas looking across moorland, meadows and fields, which are good for observing the wildlife. The trails lead alongside these and onto forest areas. Here you can see moták pilich, káně lesní, poštolka obecná, strakapoud velký, lelek lesní and numerous small birds.

Access
The area is located 25 km west of the city of Alençon. There is a hard surface parking area, with information boards, at the top of a small approach hill. Click on the P in the map for directions. The area is best explored on foot. The walking route indicated on the map is 7 km one way.
