Description

Known for its beach and swimming, the Bellebouche lake is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in the Brenne. A colony of volavka červená has settled for several years at the tail of the pond. You can also observe the lelek lesní or the European Pond Turtle. Three observatories were installed at the lake. The observatory located east of the lake is recommended in the morning, the other two, located to the west, are recommended in the afternoon.

Please note: in dry conditions (for example in May 2023) the lake can completely dry up and all the waterfowl and herons are absent then.
