A nice lake bordered by a forest, that both attract many waterbirds and forest ones.
Etang du Gallardon is a lake located between the river Seine and the town of Verneuil-sur-Seine. Among the more common birds, you will see manyberneška velká, labuť velká, kachna divoká, Slípka zelenonohá, ledňáček říční and konipas horský year-round.

But, there are yearly reports of much rarer birds ! potápka žlutorohá, morčák prostřední, loons, hohol severní have been seen a few times in the last decade.
Etang du Gallardon is located between the town of Verneuil-sur-Seine and the river Seine. From the A13, take the 8th exit and follow the "Verneuil-sur-Seine" signs. You can park in front of the lake, there is a public and free parking lot.
