Description
Etang David is a place filled with bush birds, especially in springtime: pěnice černohlavá, slavík obecný, hrdlička divoká are easy to find, as well as ledňáček říční and zrzohlávka rudozobá on the pond. Woodpeckers can be found on deciduous trees: strakapoud velký, strakapoud malý, žluna zelená, datel černý.
The place is also a nesting area for herons: kvakoš noční, volavka popelavá, volavka rusohlavá can be spotted from the pond side.
Some raptors: luňák hnědý, ostříž lesní and with chance luňák červený and orlík krátkoprstý are easy to spot hunting around.
Unusual birds like moudivláček lužní are possible during a walk across this picturesque little place.
