Description

The Capbreton Casino Waterfront is an excellent seawatching spot during autumn migration. Especially during eastward incoming storms. lyskonoh ploskozobý, chaluha pomořanská, chaluha příživná, racek Sabinův, buřňák velký, buřňák temný, buřňák baleárský, buřňáček malý, buřňáček dlouhokřídlý, rybák černý and rybák dlouhoocasý are the target species when strong westerlies blow individuals to the beach.

Hossegor Lake is to check during autumn gales as buřňáček dlouhokřídlý and other pelagic birds can seek shelter in the lake. The lake is also used as a roosting place for gulls in winter
