Description
Ilveskorvenpuisto is a nice and accessible place for casual urban birding. The pond attracts a variety of duck species in summer and it's possible to see their young there too. You can see kachna divoká, čírka obecná and morčák velký. As the summer progresses, some birds make nests on the small island in the middle of the pond. racek bouřní and racek chechtavý are common but sometimes it's possible to see racek mořský too. Slípka zelenonohá has been seen at the pond in spring time too and the surrounding bushes provide hiding places for červenka obecná.
