Description
Korva Luht is a meadow and wetland site along the small Emajõgi River. The shallow water and meadows attract hundreds of waders and ducks. The many open fields also provide excellent habitat for geese. The strand by the Emajõgi River is about 5 square kilometres large, of which more than half can be submerged during spring. There is a gravel road with several branches through the area, which makes it very easy and comfortable to observe the birds. Among the interesting birds you can see here are jespák bojovný, vodouš šedý, ostralka štíhlá, čírka modrá, bekasina větší, vodouš štíhlý, břehouš černoocasý, chřástal kropenatý and konipas citronový. And of course many ducks and geese.
