Description

Excellent place in the cloud forest of northwestern Ecuador near Tulipe. Quiet and highly recommended for observing quetzals (Pavonine Quetzal, Golden-headed Quetzal) woodpeckers, hawks, tanagers, hummingbirds and many more birds.

Access

Tulipe is located 90 km northwest of Quito, west of the village of Nanegalito. A 4x4 is advised to get there.
