Description
Tissø is the 4th largest freshwater lake in Denmark. It is easy to acces and overlook. Tissø is home to a rich and varied birdlife and orel mořský breeds here and it is easy to see. Also orlovec říční can be seen. On the lake itself potápka roháč, morčák velký, various dabbling and diving ducks, geese and lyska černá are usual residents. The beach meadows and reed beds house many foraging and breeding birds like tenkozobec opačný, rybák malý, strnad rákosní, moták pochop in addition to bukač velký, sýkořice vousatá and cvrčilka zelená.

Access
Almost all of the lakeside is on private hands, but there is a publicly accessible birdwatching tower near Fugledegård. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. From there it's a 500 meter walk to the observation tower.
